So the Maryland Ph. D program is an interdisciplinary program. It's a school wide program that involves faculty from architecture, historic preservation planning, and from real estate. Students have the opportunity to engage with policy and design on the local communities. We've got such fantastic career opportunities.
Annapolis is nearby, Baltimore is nearby. What I found really amazing about the Ph. D program is the personal attention that I've been given. It's just provided me a lot of flexibility in terms of where my research direction has gone. And we get to interact with people that we might otherwise not be in class with. Students from different countries have different urban planning experiences. Those are very useful for us to all learn from. I can't imagine doing my career anywhere else.
